DJ Earworm is stuck in my head

DJ Earworm (aka Jordan Roseman) is a San Francisco-based mashup artist who has achieved recognition for his technically sophisticated, songwriting oriented mashups. His annual “United State of Pop” mashups, short mixes featuring the top 25 songs of the year according to Billboard magazine, have reached the Top 100 for national radio play and become internet sensations.
Listening to DJ Earworm’s songs is like being served bite-size portions of all your favorite comfort foods – a strange, unsettling meal but is deliciously satisfying.

went to LiveCity to check out some Canadian gigs tonight. Verdict: Mimosa > Serena Ryder.
We went for Serena Ryder, but ended up enjoying Mimosa a lot more. It’s kinda like comparing apples and oranges – Mimosa is a mix-bag of infectious jazzy, loungey tunes performed by a few vivacious and seriously talented musicians, whereas Serena Ryder feels like a younger, not-quite-there version of Alanis Morissette.
Definitely will check out more of Mimosa’s music.
